Job Description: Under the direction of a Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Psychologist PhD Sr. provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a child and youth community mental health and addiction population. The incumbent provides program and clinical consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, formal supervisory (clinical/ professional and/or administrative) relationship with other employees, coordinate and preceptor students in formal clinical practicum, and provides professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources. As a senior practitioner, acts as a resource for other professionals for mental health and addiction in the community.

Education
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
Experience
- Three years (post-doctorate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and addiction and harm reduction strategies required to enable clients to sustain stability.
- Knowledge of and ability to select, administer, and interpret a comprehensive range of psychological tests; ability to utilize computerized assessment and interpretation software packages.
