What you will do:  

Work in compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards.
Assist in seed planting, ensuring that seeds are planted at the right rate and at the right depth.
Conduct plant counts and take field notes on crop emergence.
Scout production fields to identifying problem weeds and insects.
Manage the isolation needs of the control throughout the season.
Scout future seed production fields for volunteers and objectionable weeds.
Other duties as assigned.


What you will bring:  

Agriculture, Business or Science Degree student, or Diploma student, or graduate.
Previous agriculture or field scouting experience, an asset.
Valid Class 5 drivers license.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time under all weather conditions.
Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
