Description

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is the central human resource agency for the Government of Saskatchewan, providing leadership and policy direction to enable a high-performing, innovative public service. Committed to diversity and inclusion, the PSC actively works to attract and retain a workforce that reflects the community while advancing Truth and Reconciliation.

The Human Resource Service Centre (HRSC) delivers payroll, benefits administration, and HR support to all ministries and several smaller organizations. We are seeking multiple analytical, detail-oriented payroll professionals to join us as Human Resource Payroll Administrators (HRPA) in term roles greater than nine months. You will collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate processing of government-wide payroll and administration.

Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret policies and collective agreements, and proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications. You must demonstrate accuracy in complex calculations, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of work within deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for providing exceptional client service and supporting team goals. Experience in payroll, benefits, or HR administration is required; working toward Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification and experience in unionized environments are assets.

We offer competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including pension, vacation and earned days off, Elder/Knowledge Keeper services through EFAP, and career development opportunities in a diverse and inclusive environment.
