We are seeking dynamic individuals devoted to helping others and improving the lives of children and families as Child Protection Assistant Supervisors. In this role, you will supervise and implement programs that provide protective, preventative, and support services using the Family Centered Case Management and P.R.I.D.E. Models of Practice.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership through respect and empowerment, coach and mentor staff, and provide guidance in the absence of the supervisor. You will assist with service delivery across programs and partner agencies, act as liaison with First Nations CFS and community organizations, and represent your unit on committees. Knowledge of child abuse indicators, domestic violence, and social work theories is essential, along with expertise in policy and practice. Understanding multicultural beliefs and values, particularly First Nations and Metis, is required.
