The Ministry of Corrections and Policing is offering a rewarding career opportunity for a permanent part-time nurse at Pine Grove Correctional Centre. Candidates must be actively registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPN) or the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (RN). Knowledge of medical and psychiatric theories, intervention strategies, drug/alcohol withdrawal indicators, communicable diseases, public health issues, and multi-cultural perspectives is required.

Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care and treatment to female patients, maintaining accurate records, promoting preventative health measures, responding to medical and psychiatric emergencies, and assessing conditions for appropriate referrals. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and a mix of 8- or 12-hour schedules.
