The City of Regina is hiring up to eight Casual Labourers to support Solid Waste Operations, including landfill services, community cleanup programs, and waste collection activities. This handson role involves operating weigh scales and equipment, performing general labour tasks, inspecting loads, maintaining carts, and providing customer service to residents. Its wellsuited for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, variety, and contributing to a cleaner, safer community.
What You Bring:
-Grade 12 or GED
-Valid Class 5 licence (1A/3A an asset)
-Ability to perform physical labour in all weather
-Experience with tools, equipment, or weighscale operations (asset)
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
-Comfort with nonstandard hours and landfill environments
