The Role
You will work with a team of tradespeople to proactively maintain equipment helping the site to operate safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will make data driven decisions, follow your processes and collaborate with others to make improvements as opportunities are identified.
In this role, you will:
-Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production.
-Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers.
-Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.
Required:
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma
-Three to five years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems
-Experience with SAP
-Troubleshooting experience would be an asset
-Experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software
