Description

The Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and reception support to MGBHLMFN Economic Development. This position supports the efficient operation of the organization by coordinating documentation, maintaining records, assisting with financial and HR-related processes, and providing professional front-line service to staff, clients, and visitors. The Administrative Clerk is required to exercise confidentiality, discretion, accuracy, and professionalism always while supporting positive internal and external communication. This role contributes to the effective delivery of programs, services, and initiatives that support the economic development goals of MGBHLMFN Economic Development Corp

Key Responsibilities
-Handle and assist with document distribution and administrative projects
-Return phone calls and emails on behalf of the company and/or executives
-Research travel options, prepare itineraries, and coordinate bookings
-Arrange, schedule, and attend meetings as required
-Manage application forms and project/event registrations
-Assist employees with internal and external research projects
-Perform basic data entry as required
-Complete basic bookkeeping tasks, including filing financial documents and completing required financial forms
-Support HR operations
-3+ years experience in administrative support

-Certificate in Administrative/Business Assistant (or equivalent)
-Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage a high workload
-Experience preparing communications for internal departments
-Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision
Asset: Experience with SAGE
-Professional and friendly demeanor
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
-Positive, team-oriented attitude
-Commitment to supporting a healthy workplace culture
