The Ministry of Social Services is committed to positive outcomes for people through income support, child and family services, disability supports, and affordable housing. We work with citizens to build better lives through economic independence, strong families, and vibrant communities.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Child Protection Workers in Meadow Lake. This unique opportunity offers a flexible Drive In/Drive Out work rotation over a four-week average period, with 11-hour days (Monday to Saturday), scheduled days off, and potential staff housing. Compensation for travel time may be provided, and evening Emergency Duty Work may be required.
We are looking for candidates passionate about helping others and improving the well-being of children and families. You will deliver protective, preventative, and support services using the Family Centred Case Management Model.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Indian Social Work, or an equivalent Social Work degree from an accredited university approved by the CASSW. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required, as travel, flexible hours, and transporting children or parents are part of the role. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and skills in child protection, family support, crisis intervention, and case management.
While Indigenous representation is a priority, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Only those selected for interviews will be contacted.
