Description

As a key member of our team at Wild Rice Canada, you will play an essential role in the harvesting, processing, packaging, and handling of premium organic Canadian wild rice. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Actively participating in the harvesting of organic wild rice, following sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
Assisting in all stages of post-harvest processing to prepare the rice for market, including cleaning, sorting, and quality control.
Packaging finished products while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Handling and transporting wild rice materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Strictly adhering to organic certification standards and regulations at all times to ensure product integrity and compliance.
Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation of equipment, tools, and work areas.
Supporting general facility operations, including routine maintenance tasks and teamwork to meet production goals.

This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to sustainability and quality in organic agriculture. You will report directly to the Facility Manager and contribute to our mission of delivering premium organic wild rice to customers worldwide.
