Job Description: Screen and triage requests for mental health and addictions services. With the aid of LOCUS as a decision making tool, the assessor coordinator will resource clients as appropriate to community and/or specialized mental health and/or addictions services. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable
- Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to develop appropriate recovery plans
- Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
- Ability to keep effective work relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge in addictions screening, assessment tools and procedures
- Ability to act professionally, ethically and provide sound judgement
- Ability to administer and interpret various scales to determine client's status
