Description

Saskatoon Correctional Centre is hiring and invites you to join our team!

The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is hiring Correctional Officers. This is a meaningful career opportunity to contribute to safer communities and support adult offenders in making positive life changes. The ministry delivers programs and services that promote safety, rehabilitation, and reintegration, guided by values of respect, integrity, excellence, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, inclusive, and collaborative, with strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. They demonstrate cultural responsiveness, understand human behaviour, and are committed to supporting rehabilitation in a secure environment. A valid Class 5 drivers license and First Aid/CPR/AED certification are required.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma and/or education or experience in social sciences, corrections, or a related field.
