Responsibilities:
-Provide required surveying for earth-moving projects, site as-builts, and construction layouts
-Process survey data and produce AutoCAD drawings
-Perform engineering calculations for projects
-Conduct or assist in special projects, reporting studies, and designs
-Facilitate group discussions on a variety of topics (Safe work plans, Project planning, Contractor Management etc.)
-Review the continuing applicability of departmental procedures and work instructions, develop new or modify existing
-Maintain data records related to equipment operation and material movement
Skills and Qualifications:
-Enrolled in an Engineering Degree program (Mining, Civil, etc) or Diploma program (Mine Engineering Technology)
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
-Proficiency in AutoCAD considered an asset
-Able to work independently and interact in a team environment
-Candidate must be highly versatile and able to handle multiple projects and manage time effectively
-Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, build trust and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong analytical and problem solving abilities
-Ability to coordinate activities, information, materials or resources within own area of responsibility
-Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewans North (RSN). Athabasca residents will be given priority
Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule; May to August 2026
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
