Job Description: The Advanced Care Paramedic performs basic life support and also can deliver the widest range of advanced life support skills and administration of medications currently allowed for paramedics in Saskatchewan. An ACP license is the highest level that can be achieved in Saskatchewan with the most educational requirements that build upon education received as a Primary Care Paramedic or an Intermediate Care Paramedic.

- Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
- Grade 12
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Current ITLS - Advanced
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Highly developed clinical skills and knowledge as an Advanced Care Paramedic.
- Outstanding communication skills verbal and written enabling best care outcomes for patients/clients.
- Exemplary ability to take charge of an emergency scene, ensure scene safety and prioritize patient care when faced with multiple casualties and working closely with other emergency responders such as the police and fire services.
