Description

The Ministry of Highways is offering an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator to support the design, development, and delivery of ministry-wide learning initiatives. The ministry is seeking someone who can build blended learning solutions, support elearning development, and contribute to leadership and management skills training. This role plays a key part in translating technical subject matter into accessible learning materials and strengthening training across the organization.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who builds strong relationships, influences others, and collaborates with subject matter experts to create engaging training. They are motivated, positive, and professional, with strong energy and a goaloriented approach to their work. They demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and are proficient with Microsoft Office applications. They bring exceptional organizational, planning, and timemanagement skills, along with the capacity to analyze learning needs and support employees through welldesigned onboarding and development programs.

Key knowledge and skills include understanding human behavior, performance, individual learning differences, motivation, and adult education principles. The role typically requires a degree in Education, Human Resources, or Business Administration, or a related combination of education and experience, including at least two years of developing learning materials. A certificate in Adult Education is also suitable for applying adult learning methodologies. A valid drivers license is required.
