Job Posting: Casual Inventory Assistant

Location: Division-wide (travel to all schools required)

Term: February  June (Casual, varying hours and days)

Wage: $22.58/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Inventory Assistant to support our Procurement Administrator in a Classroom Furniture Inventory Project. This project aims to:

Develop a process for central purchases of classroom furniture
Provide a clear overview of the current state of all classrooms
Define a fair and transparent process for allocation/application of central funding
Use inventory data to identify the most pressing needs
Establish minimum standards for classroom furniture
Key Responsibilities

Visit schools across the division (mainly afternoons/evenings and school breaks to avoid disrupting student learning)
Count chairs, desks, and blinds in classrooms and storage areas
Assess and note the condition of furniture
Take clear photos of furniture for documentation
Ensure accurate and organized data collection
Requirements

Flexible schedule (hours and days will vary)
Ability to travel to all schools in the division (valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required  we will do our best to provide a division vehicle whenever possible)
Comfortable working independently and in different school environments
Computer skills with a basic ability to use spreadsheets
Attention to detail and ability to follow data collection procedures
Basic photography skills (using a division-issued device)
