About the Role
Ghost Transportation Services is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee dispatch operations, driver supervision, and fleet maintenance coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with real trucking dispatch experience who understands how to keep drivers supported, equipment moving, and operations running efficiently.
Youll be responsible for leading dispatch, supervising 20 - 25 drivers, and coordinating truck and trailer repairs with external mechanic shops.
The Fleet Supervisor leads day-to-day operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and keeps the fleet safe, reliable, and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise fleet dispatch staff and drivers
Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient, safe, and on-time service
Coordinate truck and trailer repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance with external mechanic shops
Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and service vendors to minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and maintenance requirements
Qualifications
Strong computer and organizational skills
Previous dispatching experience in transportation of freight (required)
Supervisory experience (required)
Strong understanding of truck and trailer operations preferred
Class 1A drivers license would be an asset
Eligible to work in Canada
