Description

The Ministry of Social Services supports positive outcomes for individuals and families across Saskatchewan by strengthening income support, child and family services, disability supports, and housing stability. The Childrens Services Unit in Saskatoon is seeking a dedicated Childrens Services Supervisor who is committed to improving the safety, wellbeing, and stability of children and their families through the Family Centered Case Management model.

The ideal candidate is an experienced child protection professional who leads with empathy, integrity, and a strong commitment to community and relationshipbuilding. They are skilled at guiding, coaching, and supporting diverse staff, managing change, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering collaborative working environments. They bring deep understanding of child protection issues, the socioeconomic factors affecting families, and the cultural needs of First Nations and Mtis children. They are comfortable representing the ministry in community settings, responding to inquiries, and supporting the implementation of policy and program initiatives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from an accredited institution, along with several years of experience in child protection or childrens services and supervisory experience within child and family programs.
