Reports To: Maintenance Team Manager

Summary: This position is responsible for performing general equipment, building and property maintenance. They are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. This position shall also be responsible for
keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition as required. Additional duties may include, performing routine maintenance activities, and notifying management of need for repairs.

Job Duties

Perform general maintenance on buildings, equipment, and property.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment using preventative and predictive methods.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Identify, diagnose, and report repair needs to the supervisor.
Work safely in various environments, including outdoors, confined spaces, at heights, and in dusty or chemically exposed conditions.
Read and interpret WHMIS Data Sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED.
Willing to work overtime, and Saturdays as necessary.
Valid Driver's License.
1 year experience in the operation and maintenance of buildings is an asset.
Strong attention to detail.
Technical skills required to perform tasks
