Description

The Harvest Operator will be responsible for the harvesting of raw materials and other duties as assigned.

This is a weather and production dependent position; overtime and weekend work will be required.  This position is Seasonal typically operating April-November.

Located 12km North of Usherville, SK      

Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with Bog Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety
Ensure all company procedures are being followed
Perform inspections, fuel, grease and clean assigned equipment daily
At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others
Report any issues on equipment to maintenance department
Work extra hours as required to keep production running
Additional duties as required or assigned

Ability to operate machinery
Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
High Initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, accountability and reliability
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with teammates and contractors
Strong work ethic

Education and Experience:
Ability to operate Agricultural equipment considered an asset (will certify on site)
Valid Class 5 drivers license

Physical Demands:
*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
*Ability to sit for extended periods of time
*Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
*Capable of wearing a respirator and other applicable safety equipment, as required
