ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated software engineer. You should have experience in developing integrated web solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. You must be able to work with minimum supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplined team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Regina or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  Kvale has clients throughout Canada as well as internationally. Working remotely with clients is a common practice but travel can be required.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer systems or engineering and 1-5 years of related experience.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle.    
- Experience with the design, development, and deployment of .NET Windows service applications and .NET web applications.
- Experience with RESTful API development and authentication mechanism (Windows, SAML2.0, and Oauth2) integration.
- Experience working with browser-based application development using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Experience in any of the following areas is considered an asset, but not required
- Experience with Data Historians (Aveva PI System) SDKs and APIs.
- Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (Esri ArcGIS) SDKs and APIs.
-Experience developing in Visual Studio.
-Knowledge and practical application in database design.
