Overview:
As part of the Department of Community & Leisure Services, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill one (1) seasonal, casual Arena Attendant position to begin immediately. The position is anticipated to last until the end of April 2026 and will consist of mainly evening and weekend shifts.

Reporting to the Arena Supervisor, the Arena Attendant will ensure that participants of the recreation facilities have a safe and enjoyable experience. The positions primary tasks include:
Assisting with on-ice maintenance activities including moving nets, ice monitoring and assisting with other maintenance tasks.
Custodial tasks including cleaning dressing rooms, washrooms, spectator seating, arena glass, vacuuming entrances, and other custodial duties.
Attending to user requests, as necessary.
Assisting with event set up and take down.
Removal of recycling and garbage.
Assisting with minor repairs to the facility.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
