Job description:
Responsible for the Leadership and delivery of payroll operations, including payroll, compensation & benefits
accurate, timely, and legislatively compliant payroll processing
knowledge of payroll legislation, employment law, CRA requirements, and best practices
providing strategic oversight of compensation and benefits
leads payroll, compensation, benefits, and payroll-related workforce management systems
payroll systems, HRIS, and workforce management technology
accountable for internal controls, audits, and continuous improvement of payroll service delivery
contributes to Human Resources policy development
payroll-related collective agreement interpretation
financial management, budgeting, reporting, and audit readiness related to payroll and benefits

Qualifications
Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field, equivalent combination of education and experience
PCP or Certified Payroll Manager certification is an asset
3 to 5 years of experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits
Criminal Record Check required.
