Affinity Animal Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary technician or Office Assistant. In this role, youre tasked with a duty thats integral to our success!

+ Providing general assistance to the DVM and senior staff as required
+ Applicants will be working in all areas of the clinic. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
+ Covering reception duties such as preparing invoices and collecting payments, general administrative tasks and filing
+ Providing excellent customer service to our clients both in person and over the phone
+ Compassionate and competent patient care, handling and restraint
+ Preparing laboratory samples, assisting in radiography and surgery as appropriate to level of training and experience
+ General housekeeping duties
    
Essential Skills and Qualifications
    Clinic environment experience is considered an asset
    Must be comfortable working with and handling large dogs and fractious cats
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
    Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Must be flexible in terms of hours/days and be available for evenings & weekends. Most importantly, must be a positive people loving person who enjoys interacting with others!
