Description

Regina Housing Authority provides affordable social housing to those most in need in our community. We are seeking experienced Renovation Specialists to update and renovate vacate units in a property management setting.

Collaborate with Contract and Project Administrator to determine work required and deadline in vacant unit.
Perform necessary demolition to prepare units for renovation including removal of flooring and fixtures such as cabinets.
Perform renovation work such as painting, flooring, tiling, and cabinet installation.
Notify and coordinate with supervisor for completed units to be scheduled for cleaning ahead of move in date.
Regularly assess all assigned properties and equipment for safety and report all safety concerns to the assigned supervisor.
Snow removal for all properties as necessary.

Requirements
Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent.
Certification in a relevant trade is considered an asset.
5+ years of experience in extensive renovation work including painting, installing flooring, major drywall repair, tiling, and cabinet installation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing in English, with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Comfortable using technology and able to learn mobile applications and various digital tools related to daily job duties.
Skilled in multiple aspects of residential renovation and maintenance.
Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools and related safety protocols.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills.
