Description

FDFN Administration Department is seeking a professional, highly motivated, and dedicated individual to fill the position of the Human Resource Technician in the Administration Division. The HR Technician will report directly to the HR Manager and will be a supporting role for oversight of the HR function at FDFN, including recruitment and selection and supporting our organizations human resource policy and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Coordinate recruitment and staffing activities for entry-level, professional, and technical positions, including job postings, interview coordination, reference checks, preparation of letters of offer, and employee orientation.
    Provide clerical and technical support for human resources functions.
    Prepare, type, and format HR-related forms, letters, reports, and memos.
    Receive, distribute, fax, photocopy, scan, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
    Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date personnel files and HR records.
    Organize, file, retrieve, and safeguard confidential HR documentation using standardized filing systems.
    Create new files and records and update existing personnel documentation as required.
    Ensure proper retention, storage, and disposal of records in accordance with legal and organizational guidelines.
    Recommend, develop, and maintain HR databases, software systems, and manual filing systems.
    Enter leave forms and time-off information for all programs.
    Maintain and update job descriptions.
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
    Grade 12 Diploma; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
    Certificate or Diploma in Administration or HR from a recognized institution would be asset
    Two (2) or more years of experience in human resources or administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
