The City of Weyburn is seeking a Filtration Plant Operator-In-Training to work at the Water Treatment Plant under the supervision of our certified operators.  The Filtration Plant Operator in Training monitors and operates computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the treatment and distribution of water.

Minimum Qualifications:
    Grade 12 or GED.
    Class 5 drivers license
    College or industry training courses in chemistry, water resource, pollution control or a related subject.
    Certification in water treatment and distribution is preferred.

Experience:
    Previous experience in a water treatment facility is an asset.
