We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to support our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, proficiency with QuickBooks, and experience working in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct calls promptly, providing professional assistance to clients, vendors, and staff
- Manage faxing, filing, and photocopying efficiently to maintain organized records
- Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring information is accurate and accessible
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and office documents with attention to detail
- Support bookkeeping and QuickBooks tasks, including data entry and transaction tracking
- Assist staff and management with administrative projects and office coordination
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated office administrative experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency with email systems and general computer use
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED
Preferred Qualifications / Assets:
- Office Administration or Accounting Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
- Experience in the construction industry
