Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Manager of a designated area.

Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience in acute care
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in acute care within last 5 years
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) experience required
- Experience includes one (1) year Emergency nursing experience in last 5 years
- Previous experience must include at least 1 year in Emergency nursing
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Other Education and Training
- Current ACLS and PALS desired  required to obtain within 1 year of start date.
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Ability to obtain and maintain Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification
- Ability to obtain/maintain Emergency Communication Nurse System (ECNS) cert.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or other trauma assessment course desired
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
