Position Summary
As a City Planner II, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data to support heritage planning projects, policies, and programs. You will review and process heritage permits and incentive applications, provide technical advice on heritage legislation and standards, prepare reports and studies, and represent the Branch in meetings, public forums, and stakeholder discussions. Your work will help guide responsible development while preserving Reginas unique cultural identity.
What You Bring
- A degree from a CIP-accredited planning program (or related field) and Candidate Membership with CIP
- Minimum three years of experience in planning or development
- Strong knowledge of planning principles, heritage conservation practices, and the Saskatchewan Heritage Property Act
- Proficiency with planning-related software, data tools, and office technology
