The Legislative Assembly Service of Saskatchewan (LAS) is looking for a seasoned HR Consultant who's ready to bring their skills to a unique environment, supporting teams that keep democracy running smoothly.
   In this role, you will provide consultative HR services to managers and senior leaders, offering advice, interpretation, and coaching on classification, job design, recruitment, performance management, accommodation, and employee relations. You will conduct job analysis and support the development, review, and classification of job descriptions and rationales in accordance with the Legislative Service Classification Plan and established standards. Advising on the application of HR policies, Board of Internal Economy directives, and relevant legislation; contributing to workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives; and leading or supporting HR projects, continuous improvement efforts, development of tools, resources, and briefing materials.
    A degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with practical, progressive HR experience. Strong analytical skills, experience in job analysis, organizational design, and applying structured evaluation frameworks. A solid understanding of HR principles and practices, with experience in multiple HR disciplines. CPHR designation and Change management training/certification (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) are considered assets. Experience with Saskatchewan's public service and knowledge of the legislative branch is beneficial. The successful candidate will provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
