Humboldt Housing Authority is looking for Building Services worker.   This opportunity will appeal to an independent, self-starter who enjoys working alone and amongst tenants.     If you are skilled in property maintenance, take pride in your work, are available to work up to 37.5 hours a week and participate in a rotating on-call system, we would like to hear from you!

As part of the Maintenance team, you will work at various Housing Authority properties on:
-    Building maintenance  service & repair
-    Vacancy preparation  ensuring units are ready to rent
-    Grounds maintenance - snow removal, grass cutting
-    Maintenance  of inventory and equipment

We are looking for someone that brings:
-    Experience servicing and repairing building mechanical
        equipment
-    A background in custodial and groundskeeping
-    General knowledge of carpentry, boilers, plumbing, heating,
        electrical, mechanical, and painting
-    Effective communication skills
-    Respect for safety and ability to follow OH&S Regulations

What you will need:
-    Valid drivers license, reliable truck, and an ability to use
        hand tools
-    Recognition of and respect for peoples diversity and
        individual differences

A satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check is required upon hire.
