Reporting to the Marketing and Retail Services Manager, the Marketing Consultant manages a portfolio for which they provide marketing consulting services to stakeholders on marketing strategies and tactics to support the institutions business objectives as well as broader brand awareness and positioning within the province and post-secondary sector. They work in an advisory capacity with internal and external stakeholders to develop, execute and manage marketing and communications plans in conjunction with their communications counterparts. They lead sophisticated projects, both large and small, from conception to completion, while keeping stakeholders from across the institution engaged and informed.
The Marketing Consultant executes marketing tactics across various platforms including print and digital, monitoring and optimizing campaigns in alignment with key performance indicators. They work in various digital and social platforms to create and deliver content while monitoring data and analytics to optimize marketing efficacy. They support particular areas within the institution, along with contributing to organizational marketing activities. The Marketing Consultant is accountable for the overall success of multi-faceted marketing campaigns and initiatives and their ability to be strategic and thorough in the execution of their plans has direct impact on the success of Saskatchewan Polytechnic initiatives.
