Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Hardware Supervisor  Professional Services based out of the Home and Building Centre location in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Provide expert advice on hardware products including tools, plumbing, electrical, paint accessories, and seasonal items.
Provide on the job training for new team members on product knowledge and customer service.
Build strong relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and repeat customers.
Coordinate daily workflow of team members to ensure efficient operations, proper coverage, and a strong customer experience.
Handle customer concerns and returns professionally.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill customer projects.
Drive department sales though excellent service, product knowledge, and add on sales.
Receive stock and rotate merchandise, assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Lead by example in customer service and work ethic.
Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent; you have previous work experience in a home centre location or the building materials industry.
You are skilled in motivating staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining accountability to meet sales and service goals.
You have knowledge of hardware tools, plumbing, electrical and building supplies.
You are proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools.
