We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors to help guide our organizations strategic direction and ensure effective governance.

Role Overview:
As a member of our Board of Directors, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Rooted Connections Inc. Board members are expected to provide oversight, strategic guidance, and support in key areas such as policy, finance, governance, fundraising and community engagement. This position is part of a volunteer Board.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in regular board meetings and committee meetings.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight in alignment with the organizations mission.
- Support fundraising efforts and connect the organization with potential donors.
- Review and approve budgets, policies, and organizational plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong understanding of non-profit governance and board responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Rooted Connections Inc.
- Experience in strategic planning and decision-making processes
