Description

The Neighbourhood Church Early Learning Centre is looking for an amazing Early Childcare Educator to join our supportive and compassionate team on a permanent full-time basis. TNC ELC educators are passionate about providing children with the best quality care and learning environment.
Responsibilities
-Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programming based on the play and exploration curriculum.
-Create a learning environment that encourage a child to be curious and have a sense of belonging.
-Develop, implement, and evaluate the daily care routine and program for our children.
-Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
-Build a meaningful, trusting, and respectful relationships with children and their families.
-Observe and assesses children, documenting the developmental milestones and behaviours for ongoing evaluation.
-Ensure effective communication with colleagues and the Centre Director. To work collaboratively with colleagues and the Centre Director to foster a cohesive and supportive team environment.
-To help build positively into our community to promote high-quality childcare.
-Ensure compliance with health/safety and organizational policies.
-To provide a early learning childcare services that align with our centre's core values and philosophy.
-Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs and interests of each child who call TNC ELC their home away from home.
-To help maintain a clean and organized centre to ensure that children and their educators are in a safe place where they can learn, grow, and explore.
-Participate in professional development opportunities
To apply:
-Valid ECE Certification: Level I, Level II or Level III (or willingness to obtain)
-Valid First Aid/CPR_C Certification
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
