Job Title: Office Assistant
Salary: $23/Hr for 90 days, $24/Hr to follow evaluation
City: Saskatoon
Experience Required: 2 years administrative experience in a professional office environment.
Job Summary
Support the revitalization of the Riversdale business area of Saskatoon through administrative and communications functions. Act as the in-office contact for district business owners, organization board members, and all other inquirers on phone, in person and/or online. Support the actions and efforts of the Executive Director to ensure optimal positioning in correspondence with city officials, property owners, business owners, board members, and social programmers throughout the district.
Tasks
Administration of internal and external communication strategies through current systems and processes along with improved and focused social media distribution from the organization.

Manage all inquiries to the Riversdale BID during work hours (phone, email, social media)
Support the efforts of any consulting support or 3rd party support leveraged by the district
Coordinate and administer the master schedule of the organizations meetings and events
Administer the process of some community-based initiatives such as the flower pot program, clean and safe program and others that emerge along with event planning local festivals and activities
Meeting prep and follow up (create and distribute agendas, type and distribute minutes)
Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
