The City of Prince Albert is seeking to fill a seasonal Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator.Employees in this position are required to assist operations, directed by a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, through the duration of their duty.

This position is meant to provide relief during a seasonal period (approx. April 15  September 15) with additional demands at the plant.

Required Qualifications:

Grade 12.
Currently pursuing a university or technical degree in an applicable science, engineering or technical program.
Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and safe driving record.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in relieving duties of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and assumes the Operator's schedule and duties.
Assists in performing of repair and maintenance work at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and sewage lift stations.
Operate relevant equipment as required (i.e. Loader, Bobcat)
Follow the Act, Regulations and policies of Occupational Health & Safety.
Follow Acts, Regulations, Bylaws, Agreements, policies and procedures.
Perform other related work as assigned.
