Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and cargo across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of goods in transit. Experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair is a plus, contributing to smooth operations and vehicle maintenance.
Duties

Safely operate trucks for local gravel and equipment deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload aggregates and/or heavy equipment as needed
Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Maintain accurate delivery records and safety paperwork
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and office
Assist with shop maintenance, repairs and anything else as required
Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for loading or unloading aggregates and/or equipment
