Students, mature individuals, or a job share between two people would be considered for this position.
The Septic Truck Driver position is responsible for conducting septic tank pump outs at the park and in slow season, will be responsible to assist the maintenance department of the Park.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Operate a septic pump truck with a standard transmission, and associated hoses and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Proper machine start-up, operation and shutdown knowledge.
Understand and follow directions from the supervisor.
Provide prompt and appropriate responses to the office-based dispatch team.
Perform daily preventative vehicle maintenance and safety checks on equipment to identify concerns or potential issues.
Drive safely in all weather conditions and follow traffic laws.
Safely transport and dispose of waste materials in accordance with regulations.
Complete jobs independently while maintaining a high standard of service.
Familiarity with septic system maintenance is a plus
The candidate must have:
Must hold a valid Drivers License.
Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Must have air brake endorsement.
Must provide a drivers abstract that summarizes traffic violations or charges, if any, for insurance purposes.
