Description

About You:
You are a motivated, well-organized professional with excellent office skills. You have strong analytical skills and enjoy working independently. You can communicate effectively and in a professional manner with members of the public and stakeholders.

What is the opportunity?
The Insurance and Real Estate and Consumer Credit Divisions of the Financial and Consumer Affair Authority (FCAA) protect consumers by regulating a number of industries within Saskatchewan including insurance companies, payday lenders, mortgage brokers and brokerages, and credit unions. We are seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Licensing Clerk in support of our Insurance and Real Estate and Consumer Credit Divisions.  This is a one-year term opportunity. This position performs an important function by reviewing statutory licensing filings, updating licensee files and updating the divisions database accordingly. The Licensing Clerk is also responsible for answering questions from licensees, applicants, and the public. The Licensing Clerk provides administrative support to both divisions as required.

What do you need to succeed?
As the successful candidate, you are organized with a keen eye for detail, and are able to respond to a wide range of inquiries with courtesy, clarity, and professionalism.

About the FCAA:
The FCAA protects Saskatchewan consumers and investors and fosters fair and efficient markets by providing effective, balanced, and timely marketplace regulation. We enhance consumer protection through licensing, registration, disclosure, audit, complaint handling and enforcement activities pursuant to various provincial statutes.
