Description

We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment.
Your Primary Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and electrical issues in heavy-duty equipment.
-Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of heavy machinery, including; loaders, excavators, articulated trucks, scrapers, crawler tractors.
-Replace defective parts, components, and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
-Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to safety standards.
-Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to aid in repairs
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or similar role or;
-Currently enrolled in Heavy duty equipment apprenticeship program.
-Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
-Experience on CAT, John Deere, Hitachi and or Volvo heavy equipment is preferred.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Focus on Safety.
-Valid class 5 drivers license required.
-Personal Tools required.
-English proficiency required (Written and Spoken)
