Description

We are currently seeking Youth Program Staff support a variety of YMCA programs designed to build skills, confidence, and connection for children and youth of all abilities. Program areas may include Child Minding, sports, sciences, arts, and camps. Hours of Work: 3 hours per day; twice per week (6 hours/week)

Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate activities that promote personal growth, social skills, recreation, and healthy living.
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging program environment through effective supervision, coaching, and mentorship.
Build positive relationships with participants and families, modeling YMCA values in all interactions.
Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals and ensure smooth program operations.
Demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills to manage daily tasks and program needs.
Maintain a clean and safe program space by completing required housekeeping and sanitization duties.

Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and creativity in program planning.
Proven leadership abilities, including managing groups of varying ages and abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements:
A valid Criminal Record Check dated within 3 months of hire.
Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
Submission of three (3) professional references with application.
