Description

The RM of LeRoy, No. 339 (RM) is accepting applications for a Full Time Grader Operator/Class 1A Truck Driver.
The RM has an experienced crew that performs a wide variety of construction related tasks, year-round, under the direction of the Foreman.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    -Stockpiling gravel;
    -Spreading gravel onto municipal roads;
    -Operating heavy equipment (including but not limited to grader, backhoe, caterpillar, skid-steer, tractor) to complete year-round road maintenance, construction and mowing;
    -Manual labor as needed installing road signs and other as required;
    -Servicing and general maintenance of equipment;
    -Other duties assigned by the Foreman as required to meet the ongoing needs of the RM.
The Successful Candidate must have:
    -Class 1A Drivers Licence;
    -Previous experience operating a motor grader (other heavy equipment considered an asset);
    -Mechanical Skills;
    -Ability to follow instruction, work independently and as a team member;
    -Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, extended hours including some weekends;
    -Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, council and the public.
