Description

In this role, you will:
-Work closely with process operators, supervisors and metallurgists to support process operations, process troubleshooting, laboratory and field studies.
-Complete data collection, analysis and environmental reporting while following QA/QC guidelines
-Drive continuous improvement in the laboratory by streamlining data collection analysis.
-Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform preventative maintenance on -laboratory instrumentation as needed.
-Work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.

Required:  
-technical diploma in chemistry, metallurgy or processing;
-three to five years of relevant analytical lab experience;
-equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-previous experience operating an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS);
-team player with excellent communication and organizational skills; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:
-previous experience working in an industrial environment; and
-LIMS and SAP experience.
