Description

Meadow Lake Coop is hiring a Farm/Livestock Representative in our Hardware Department in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Co-op does business differently.  As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth.  

What you'll do: Working closely with the Farm Hardware Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
To ensure acceptable level of customer service is provided to customers and you have the appropriate attitude to create a positive experience for customers;
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;
Have a deep understanding of livestock equipment;
Have a deep understanding of small and large animal feed, health and mineral;
Ability to read feed tests
Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing and new clients;
Have deep understanding of farm equipment and supplies;
Be willing to take training courses from time to time as the need arises;
Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;
Other duties as assigned.

Who you are: You are passionate about a career in Agriculture and:
You have valid class 5 drivers license;
Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Animal Science or related experience will be considered an asset.
You are highly motivated;
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
You believe in maintaining a respectful and honest work place;
Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted.
