Job Description: The Clinical Educator integrates skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning in the provision of direct patient care, clinical coordination, clinical problem-solving, education and research for a defined group of patients and/or programs. The incumbent will: Provide leadership that is visible, pro-active and provides the delivery of client care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the site director of home care/community team managers, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, implementing and evaluating designated educational activities/programs either facility-based and/or region wide. They will use a consultative approach with evidenced based research to provide support to home care staff.

Experience
- Previous experience in nursing education is required
- Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring and evaluation.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor Certificate (BCLS)
