Description

BCI is looking for an enthusiastic Financial Controller to serve as a key leader in our Saskatchewan Office.  In this role, you'll combine financial expertise with organization leadership, guiding our administrative team while ensuring accuracy and efficiency for all office and accounting functions.

What you'll be doing:
-  Overseeing day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflows
-  Implementing and upholding company policies, ensuring compliance with corporate standards
-  Overseeing and ensuring payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable departments are meeting expectations
-  Preparing accurate financial reports
-  Maintaining the integrity of all accounting and financial documentation
-  Organizing office procedures, correspondence and filing systems
-  Approving supply requisitions and monitoring inventory levels
-  Working closely with Senior Executive Leadership
-  Ensuring document retention and accurate record keeping aligns with best practices
-  Analyzing reports and identifying trends to support executive decision making

What we're Looking for:
-  A strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable/receivable and reporting
-  Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team
-  Strong organizational skills with a track record of improving processes and systems
-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
-  Certificate or diploma in Accounting.
-  Experience in a professional office setting, ideally within construction or industrial services
-  Familiarity with document retention protocols and administrative best practices
