The Saskatoon Housing Authority is seeking a candidate to fill our Field Services Support Technician role within our maintenance department; this is a permanent and unionized full-time position. The role provides a high level of customer service, janitorial care, and maintenance repair at a specified location, which will also provide support/coverage at other properties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
. Perform caretaking and janitorial duties in a timely manner, while ensuring tenant safety and security.
. Effectively assess the working order of all components of the property (cosmetic, mechanical, and structural).
. Efficiently perform repairs to SHA properties.
. Facilitate damage repair and coordinate the completion of any outside contractor work.
. Communicate effectively and respectfully with SHA management, staff, and tenants.
. Verify completion of work and ensure Residential Standards Codes are met.
. Maintain property interiors, and exterior grounds, which includes snow removal, and yard care.
. Manage maintenance service requests from tenants and attend after hour emergencies if needed.
. Ensure vacant units are ready for occupancy on time, and complete move ins/move outs.
Job Requirements:
. A clear Criminal with Vulnerable Sector Record check.
. Possess a valid driver's license and a roadworthy vehicle.
. Possess personal third-party liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage.
