Start Date: As soon as possible

CHEP Good Food is seeking to build a small, dependable team of casual/on-call drivers to become regular drivers. This is a very part-time role ideal for someone looking for supplementary income or flexible hours.

About the Role

Reporting to the Community Logistics and Support Worker, casual drivers are responsible for transporting food and supplies to schools, community programs, and partner organizations throughout Saskatoon. Youll be helping ensure that food and resources reach the communities that need themon time and with care.

Typical Schedule

Weekday shifts typically on Mondays
Most shifts start in the morning and end by early afternoon
Offered as needed, usually with 1 weeks notice
Typically 1 shift/week lasting 6/7 hours

What Youll Do

Drive CHEPs delivery vehicle (cargo van or 5T truck) on planned routes
Pick up and deliver food and supplies to multiple locations
Load and unload items safely
Communicate with staff and partners to support efficient deliveries
Represent CHEPs values of food security and community support
Follow all traffic and safety regulations

What You Bring

Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
Comfortable with cargo vans or 5T trucks (training provided if needed)
Clean driving record and completed criminal record check
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (or more if needed)
Reliable, self-motivated, and time-efficient
Friendly and professional communication skills
Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and updates
